Ann out bid another customer of mine at the Acorn School Auction for this family session. I love the colors she chose for her family and how they complement the warm bright leaves in the background. We chose the back of Stratham Hill Park as the setting and didn’t realize its actually the dog park! The image in black and white of everyone looking away and laughing was created courtesy of a HUGE mountain dog running in our direction full steam ahead! Its probably my favorite shot.

Katie warned me she didn’t know how to pose and didn’t know what to do in front of the camera. I would have thought that was an April fools joke except it was September! We got so many AMAZING images of her I had a hard time choosing what ones to post! The dress is to die for and I covet it! I hope you have an incredible last year at Berwick Academy!

Maddy chose the slightly more traditional, beautiful senior portraits as her theme. She is gorgeous so that was an easy task on my part! We still put the time into her consult making sure she had the exact experience and end result she wanted. I love her clothing choices and images she chose as her favorites to hang at home. A lot of behind the scenes appreciation and time is put into each shoot to create the portrait that you want to and are proud to hang on the wall, or have in a collection on the coffee table. I love how much joy is created with showing people how beautiful they are inside and out.

During my brother and his wife’s visit this year we had the opportunity to celebrate and photograph their daughters 1st birthday! She wasn’t really into the family portraits (I have to warn them that probably won’t change) so my brother let her feed him rocks! Yes parents will do ANYTHING to get that uninterested baby to participate in portraits and so will I! Luckily I didn’t have to eat the rocks, but I would have!! We moved on to the cake smash and as you can see she wasn’t really feeling that either. It may have been that the cupcake was NOT from Beach Pea Baking co, and she knows at One she deserves the best! We are not sure but my guess is the ocean was calling the little mermaid. We bailed on the rest and went for the trash the cute baby outfit shoot and let her just play in the ocean. She went running into the ocean and would not come out until pulled out with blue lips and shaking. My niece is beautiful with even a more beautiful, strong spirit! She is here to love life and experience every moment and NOTHING, not even the cutest outfit will get in her way.

Emily chose TWO locations for her high school senior portraits. Celebrating her passion for Aerial Acrobatics the Dover studio was the first stop for some black and white action shots. All the upside down hanging brought some great color to her cheeks for her second part of the session at Prescott Park in Portsmouth. She loved the location from her sisters session two years earlier. I am excited about all the different looks we created from her two locations and all the background choices.
