The lighting fell beautifully on her face and the buildings of downtown portsmouth. For Christi’s senior portraits she chose to do around town and have a combination of structure and organic elements within her images. This was a beautiful night and such a fun adventure of color and use of light.

I’m remembering back to the warm July days as the trees start to change, and realized I had not posted Juliette’s shoot! By now Juliette is walking and her whole world perspective has changed, and so has her parents I’m guessing! haha I love this happy baby and her sweet family!

Anna! Back when we still had the flowers blooming and warm weather Anna did her senior photos at New Castle Commons. She reminds me of Caroline Kennedy with her beauty. Grace and beauty inside and out, not to mention her prom picture….amazing with the colors of the water!

You never know the circles you run in until you have people pop back into your life time and again. I had the honor of doing Ado’s senior portraits and realized I had a fun story with his mom. We had met years ago when are kids were small. While watching them play in a pool at water country we catted just a half hour and never ran into each other again until Ado needed his portraits done. He told her of this photographer named Sunshine White that had done his friends senior pics and she figured it had to be me! How many Sunshine’s are there on the Seacoast or even New Hampshire for that matter. haha It was great seeing you all again and so fun doing Ado’s portraits!

Grace waited for the solar eclipse to be born after her parents waited and waited past her arrival day. What an incredible entrance into this world! Her spirit continued on, into her second week, when I was able to meet her. I assumed we would have a sleeping baby as she was barely two weeks old. I could not have been more wrong! Grace felt like sleeping the whole night before and was completely rested for her shoot time, with no interest in sleeping. My best laid plans of a curled up sleeping baby within this nest, made just for her, where not her plans. We did however grab one shot with her mothers dried flower crown, worn during her wedding day. I am looking forward to her six month session and what she may have in store for me! I’ll try not to plan anything to tightly.
